A baby’s first year goes by so quickly and is filled with lots of milestone moments. A sitter/milk bath photography experience is a celebration of when your older baby is able to sit upright unaided and may be close to crawling, but are not yet able to walk (generally around 6-8 months).

I capture your babies genuine expressions when they smile, giggle and their proud little face when they realise they have learnt to sit up by themselves. It is also a perfect time to get some cute photos of your little ones chubby leg rolls, which tend to disappear once they start walking.

Cassie is so accommodating and listens to what you want out of the sessions! Everything is so well thought out and professional from the organisation of the sessions themselves to the amazing studio wardrobe! I wish we had also had our newborn shoot with Cassie as there is literally everything you could need at the comfy studio for both Baby & Mum! Cassie also offers an ‘Image Reveal’ so you can go back to the studio and choose your photos whilst having a Latte and our Fur baby was even welcome. Just a superb experience all round!

I honestly canβt recommend Cassie highly enough! We recently had a sitter/milk bath photoshoot for our 9 month old daughter and the photos are just beautiful. The whole experience from the pre shoot communication right up to collection day was amazing. On our shoot day we were made to feel so welcome at Cassieβs beautiful studio and Marley had a lovely time splashing in the milk bath and playing with the toys during her shoot. PRICING
A Β£50 deposit is required at the time of booking in order to secure your date in the diary. The deposit is non-refundable, but is transferable to another date if rearranged within 48 hours of your current booking. Weekend photoshoots are available for an additional fee of Β£95.

THE DAY OF YOUR SITTER/MILK BATH EXPERIENCE
Sitter/milk bath photography sessions last for up to 90 minutes and take place in the studio. During the session, I start by taking portrait images showing your little one sitting up by themselves, followed by the milk bath where I capture the excitement on your little ones face when splashing around in the milk.

We had a Sitter/Milk Bath/Family photoshoot done with Cassie at her studio. Cassieβ studio is beautifully set up to capture the most fantastic shots and memories. Cassie made us feel comfortable and at ease and led the shoot at our babies pace. We are so pleased with our photos and they captured such important moments. We have booked in for our next milestone which is bubbas first birthday which will be a cake smash shoot! Really looking forward to working with Cassie again to capture those prescious moments.

YOUR QUESTIONS
A milk bath is a symbolic milestone celebration of your baby growing and progressing from only requiring milk onto the weaning stage.
Every baby develops at their own pace and a sitter session generally takes place when baby is around 6-8 months. In order to ensure session availability in The Studio, I recommend booking once baby has reached 4 months or as soon as you know you would like a session.
I recommend dressing your baby in white or neutral coloured plain outfits with their legs and arms uncovered. At this age, it is very cute to capture any little leg rolls, teeth that have started to come through, eyelashes as well as their little fingers and toes.

Approx 1 week after your session you will come back to the studio for your Image Reveal Appointment. You will see your images for the first time via a music slideshow on a big screen in the studio.
